Last week we shared our latest Bayview One tour where we revealed our kitchen and our families most loved kitchen appliance – Our Zip tap!
It goes without saying that Zip Taps are a must for most of our kitchen projects! We love them and so do our clients, we’re always designing them into our clients projects because of their convenience and streamlined aesthetic! The convenience of a Zip Tap is one of our top reasons for needing one. As we have mentioned before, with 3 active kids at home, having filtered drinking water on hand is a must! No more fussing over a filtered jug or ensuring the fridge is stocked with cold water 24/7 between school days, athletics training or weekend soccer games! So not only is it a lifesaver at home with the kids and their friends, but also for our team in our studio space too! It has never been easier for the team to fill up a jug of water for the working day ahead or quickly grab that 10am cup of tea between tasks!
BOILING, CHILLED + SPARKLING WATER IN AN INSTANT
With numerous function combinations available with boiling, chilled and/or sparkling and the added option of ambient hot and cold too, you can have the perfect Zip to suit your needs. All the different functions are instantly interchangeable on the taps control lever and at any time – whether its chilled or boiling or sparkling, the water is at your fingertips in an instantly! We also love the unlock function on the boiling water to ensure we never have a burns disaster with the kids (or ourselves if we are honest!)
We opted for the Brushed Nickel Hydrotap Arc with font kit in the boiling, chilled and sparkling option in our new home – Bayview One. The filter box and gas bottles are nice and compact too, and fit perfectly within the cupboard directly below.

Having sparkling water so readily available at the push of a button has made the Zip tap one of the best appliance decisions in both our studio and our new home!
