So here we are, another week has come and gone! This year really is just passing us by so quickly already, and we thought last year flew by.
This week we found ourselves putting a lot of thought into kitchen details, and coming across heaps of incredible inspiration along the way. The art is in the detail, and the difference between an every day kitchen and one that uniquely shines above the rest, is the eye catching details in the materiality and fixings. We love the way some of these designs combine touches of gold or brass with raw natural materials or contrast them with deep dark tones. Using beautiful surfaces and applying the in new ways can also become a great opportunity to create exciting details at the join – just like the way the marble meets the wrap around tile, or the stone inlays into the timber island bench. Our personal fav is definitely the way brass can be added to a join to not only add interest but break up the surrounding materials.
