Are you a digital marketing guru that is both goal orientated and creative?!
In this role you will be working directly with our Marketing Manager to effectively communicate the Darren James brand to our social media following and wider community. You will manage internal and external content focusing on educational and engaging marketing content for our target audience. Our ideal candidate would have a strong passion for interiors, home and lifestyle spaces. This position is responsible for the coordination of all digital marketing strategies which pivot around driving traffic, growing engagement, and revenue whilst always staying true to our brand’s aesthetic and voice.
What you will contributions:
- Write and edit articles to ensure best marketing practices are being met –Wordpress experience and passion for interiors
- Assist with styling and photoshoot coordination
- Assist in both creation and maintenance of the content calendar
- Execute and coordinate the creation of digital content for all digital and social platforms (e.g. website, blogs, press releases, videos, etc.)
- Create graphic content that is in keeping with our brands aesthetic according to content calendar, events and current projects
- Pitch, produce and edit feature-length and search-based content – including video
- Reach out, develop relationships, and coordinate collaborations with key influencers, suppliers and partners in the community
- Work with both print and digital publications with regards to editorials and original content creation
- Work closely with the marketing and creative director for big-picture strategy
About You:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a related role
- Detail oriented, deadline focused, observant, adaptable and of course creative
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms
- Ability to generate original ideas that strategically drive traffic
- Strong understanding of Darren James Interiors aesthetic and voice
- Familiar and passionate about the home and lifestyle space, including industry leaders and influencers in the design / build community
- Able to consistently identify industry trends across the home and lifestyle space
- Undergrad degree in marketing, communications or a proven portfolio to support skill set
